Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for helping individuals of all ages regain independence in their daily activities. This may include developing treatment plans, teaching new techniques, and providing support to improve overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation
3. Provide therapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and activities of daily living
4. Assist patients in adapting to their environment
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
6. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
2. Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
6. Experience working with patients of all ages and abilities
