Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will work with patients of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others improve their communication skills and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders
- Developing individualized treatment plans to improve speech and language skills
- Providing therapy sessions to patients in individual or group settings
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records
- Educating patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and exercises
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
