Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients. This role requires a compassionate and motivated individual who is committed to helping patients achieve their physical therapy goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities of daily living
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document patient progress and communicate with physical therapists to update treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and billing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
