Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals who have physical, mental, or cognitive disabilities that hinder their ability to perform everyday tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in therapy techniques and a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to determine a patient's needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical and cognitive abilities
- Help patients learn new strategies and techniques to overcome obstacles in their daily lives
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients
- Monitor and document progress in therapy sessions
- Educate patients and their families on how to continue therapy at home
- Stay current on best practices and new research in the field of occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with patients of all ages and abilities
- Knowledge of therapy techniques and interventions
