Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities. You will evaluate patients' abilities and create customized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and mental capabilities.
2. Develop treatment plans to improve patients' abilities to perform daily tasks.
3. Work with patients to improve their motor skills, coordination, and cognitive function.
4. Help patients adjust to any physical or environmental changes.
5. Communicate with patients' families and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
6. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. State licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
5. Knowledge of medical terminology and rehabilitation techniques.
6. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
