Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the physical therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques to continue their rehabilitation at home
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current PTA license in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
