Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting evaluations, creating treatment plans, and providing therapy to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. The Speech Therapist will work closely with patients and their families to improve communication skills and help them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with a diverse patient population
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech therapy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
