Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals who have physical, mental, developmental, or emotional disabilities to help them improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. You will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide interventions to improve their independence and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine clients' abilities and limitations
2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
3. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve clients' fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients
5. Educate clients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence
6. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clients' progress and treatment interventions
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
2. State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Experience working with individuals with disabilities
6. Knowledge of evidence-based practice in occupational therapy
7. Commitment to ongoing professional development
