Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional rehabilitation services to patients. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist Physical Therapists with evaluating and treating patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
- Instruct and educate patients on appropriate exercises and techniques
- Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy and support during therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Proficiency in basic therapy techniques and exercises
- Experience working with patients in a rehabilitation setting is preferred
