Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and help improve the quality of life for our patients through therapeutic interventions and activities. The successful candidate will work closely with individuals of all ages who are experiencing physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to determine each patient's needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement treatment plans, which may include activities such as therapeutic exercises, fine motor skills training, and sensory integration techniques.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies and techniques to improve independence and daily functioning.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Monitor and record patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay current on developments and research in the field of Occupational Therapy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassion and patience in working with patients with diverse needs.
