Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Speech Therapist, you will work with individuals who have speech and language disorders to help them improve their communication skills. You will assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to help them overcome communication challenges.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and educators, to create integrated treatment plans
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate clients and their families on speech therapy techniques and exercises
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology or a related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure as a speech therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques
- Experience working in a healthcare or educational setting is preferred
