Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will work with individuals to diagnose and treat speech and language disorders, helping them improve their communication skills and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate patients to determine their speech and language strengths and weaknesses.
2. Develop customized treatment plans to address individual needs and goals.
3. Work with patients to improve articulation, fluency, voice quality, and language skills.
4. Provide therapy sessions in individual or group settings.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and educators, to provide comprehensive care.
6. Keep detailed records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
7. Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication outside of therapy sessions.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
2. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
3. State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
4. Experience working with patients with a variety of speech and language disorders.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Compassion and patience to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
