Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain through various exercises and therapeutic techniques.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Instruct patients on exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Provide feedback to the Physical Therapist on patient response to treatment
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
- Assist in ordering and maintaining therapy supplies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
