Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Summary:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to help individuals of all ages improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks. You will assist in implementing customized treatment plans to help clients develop, recover, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist in evaluating clients' conditions and needs.

2. Help develop treatment plans and goals with licensed occupational therapists.

3. Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve clients' motor skills and coordination.

4. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

5. Provide guidance and support to clients and their families.

6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress.

7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

2. Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

3. State licensure as required.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

6. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

7. Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
