Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy services for our patients with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to determine patients' functional abilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' strength, coordination, and mobility
- Educate patients and caregivers about adaptive techniques and equipment
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience working with patients with various disabilities
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
