Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our rehabilitation team in delivering high-quality care. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists, helping patients recover mobility, improve physical function, and enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the execution of individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and proper techniques.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current state licensure or certification as a PTA.
CPR/BLS certification preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Compassionate, patient-focused approach with attention to detail.
Preferred Experience:
1+ years working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting (new graduates welcome to apply).
Experience in outpatient, inpatient, home health, or long-term care is a plus.
