Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments through the use of various modalities and exercises. You will work closely with patients to help them regain strength, mobility, and function, and develop personalized treatment plans to meet individual needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical limitations and develop treatment plans
- Implement treatment plans using a variety of techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques they can do at home to improve their condition
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Compassion and empathy for patients
