Job title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that affect their movement and physical abilities. You will create personalized treatment plans to improve the patient's mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent further injuries.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the patient's condition and determine their needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist patients in performing exercises and stretches to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion
- Use specialized equipment and techniques such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy
- Educate patients on safe and effective ways to manage their condition
- Monitor and track the patient's progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- State license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
