Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for helping patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and regain independence through the use of therapeutic techniques. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients reach their goals
- Conduct therapy sessions to improve motor skills, coordination, and mobility
- Teach patients how to properly use adaptive equipment to enhance their independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for managing daily tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of current best practices in occupational therapy
- Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each patient
