We are seeking a passionate and skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation Team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and monitor safe and effective exercise programs for patients recovering from cardiac events or managing chronic heart conditions.
The role involves close collaboration with cardiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals to deliver evidence-based care that enhances patient recovery, promotes lifestyle change, and improves overall cardiovascular health.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments including exercise tolerance testing, ECG monitoring, and risk stratification.
Develop and supervise individualized exercise prescriptions for cardiac patients.
Monitor patients’ responses during exercise sessions and ensure safety at all times.
Provide education on heart health, physical activity, nutrition, and risk-factor management.
Maintain accurate patient records and progress documentation.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
Support the delivery of both inpatient and outpatient cardiac rehabilitation programs.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field.
Accredited or eligible for accreditation with relevant professional body (e.g., ACSM, ESSA, or equivalent).
Experience in cardiac rehabilitation or clinical exercise settings preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
