We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support occupational therapists in helping patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. The ideal candidate will assist in therapy sessions and contribute to patient rehabilitation and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
Help patients develop skills for daily living and independence.
Monitor patient progress and report updates to the therapist.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and outcomes.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs.
Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment.
Requirements:
Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Valid COTA certification/license.
Experience in rehabilitation, healthcare, or therapy settings preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with patients of all age groups.
