- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and billing information
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and research
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapist in the state you are practicing
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated experience in physical therapy, including internships or clinical rotations
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide patient-centered care and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Ability to effectively analyze and evaluate patients' conditions to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and technologies
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform therapeutic exercises and activities
- Empathy, compassion, and patience when working with patients during their recovery process
