Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will work with individuals who have physical, mental, developmental, or emotional disabilities to help them improve their daily living and working skills. You will create personalized treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate clients' physical, mental, and emotional condition to determine their specific needs.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans to help clients improve their daily living skills.
3. Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve clients' mobility, strength, and coordination.
4. Provide education and training to clients and their families on how to use adaptive equipment and strategies to improve daily functioning.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
6. Document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. Valid Occupational Therapist license.
3. Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
6. Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques.
