Raze Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist for a 26-week contract position. The ideal candidate should have acute care experience, be independent and proficient in completion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS), and have at least 2 years of experience, preferably with SNF level or Rehab hospital experience.
Responsibilities:
Completion of MBS studies independently
General job duties including rehabilitation in Acute and SNF facilities
Documentation using Meditech computerized inpatient and paper and pencil outpatient documentation
Possibility of referrals for outpatient care
Requirements:
BLS certification
HI rehab licensure in appropriate discipline
Must be able to complete MBS studies independently
Location: Hilo, HI 96720
Shift: Generally set schedule 5 days per week, but may include 1 weekend day
Dress Code: Scrubs or per HMC dress code policy and procedures
Training in EMR documentation will be provided and orientation to the rehab area and expectations will be given upon acceptance.
