Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain through various exercises and treatments. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Assist Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients

- Instruct and assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities

- Monitor and record patient progress during treatment sessions

- Educate patients on proper techniques for home exercises and self-care

- Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members

- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care

Qualifications and Skills:

- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program

- State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work as part of a team and independently

- Attention to detail and good organizational skills

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to patient care
