We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Raze Therapeutics. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating acute care inpatient and outpatient populations. The ideal candidate must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served, and have the ability to promote patient/caregiver self-determination.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing and dysphasia disorders
Ensure a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental well-being of the patient
Coordinate and communicate with various disciplines or services involved in patient care
Advocate for the patient and coordinate efforts towards discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during the episode of care
Provide EPIC training during the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours
Must be able to work varied days
Requirements:
Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist with an active license in the state of New Mexico
Must have a current driver's license and auto insurance
Scrubs required and provided by the facility
