Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our healthcare team in Scranton, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and illnesses, improving their mobility, relieving pain and restoring function through exercise, manual therapy, and education.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patients' needs and creating personalized treatment plans
- Developing rehabilitation programs for patients to improve their strength, flexibility and mobility
- Monitoring and documenting patients' progress
- Educating patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and safety precautions
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure the patient's recovery process is smooth and effective.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of South Carolina
- Experience in physical therapy or a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
