Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work collaboratively with patients to provide comprehensive therapy services aimed at improving their mobility, functionality, and overall quality of life. Your role will involve assessing patients, developing tailored treatment plans, implementing therapeutic exercises and techniques, and monitoring progress. The primary goal of this position is to help patients regain strength, restore movement, and alleviate pain while adhering to ethical standards and following best practices.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition and medical history to diagnose their condition accurately
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments, in collaboration with patients and relevant healthcare professionals
- Administer therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to alleviate pain, restore mobility, and improve functionality
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for managing pain, preventing injuries, and maximizing recovery
- Perform manual therapy techniques, massage, and other treatments as required for specific conditions
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure clear understanding and compliance with treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with latest advancements in the field and participate in professional development activities
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Proficient in evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
- Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform therapeutic exercises
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on assessment results
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records
