Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Scranton, SC. As an OT, you will work with patients of all ages who have physical or mental disabilities or injuries to help them improve their everyday life's activities. You will provide treatment to help patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Help patients develop plans to improve their daily living skills
• Assess patients' physical, emotional, and mental conditions
• Develop and monitor treatment plans
• Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment to perform daily activities
• Work with patients to regain or improve strength, coordination, and range of motion
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor and document patients' progress
Qualifications and Skills:
• A master's or doctoral degree in occupational therapy
• Active OT license in the state of South Carolina
• Experience working with diverse patient populations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice
