Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) in Kerrville, TX
Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in accordance with state regulations and guidelines. The OT will work with patients across the lifespan to help them achieve their goals and improve their daily function.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting patient evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Providing patient education to improve daily function and prevent further injury
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient care
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and reports
- Participating in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current and valid Texas Occupational Therapy license
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and contemporary treatment techniques
- Experience working with a wide variety of patient populations
