Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. As a PT, you will be responsible for providing clients with optimal rehabilitation and therapeutic treatments to enhance their physical capacity and alleviate any discomforts.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop treatment plans that meet clients' needs and goals in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Implement the treatment plan using procedures that promote the speed of recovery and improve the client's quality of life.
• Evaluate clients' progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
• Assist in providing education and training for clients, caregivers, and family members.
• Provide support and direction to PT assistants and aides.
• Ensure the adherence to ethical standards, accreditation requirements, and legislative, regulatory, and institutional standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license for PT in VA.
• Demonstrated experience in the field of Physical Therapy.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with current evidence-based practices, rehabilitation techniques, and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
