Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) in Aberdeen, WA
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen, WA. As a PT, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients with various injuries or conditions in order to improve their mobility and function. You will work closely with patients to provide education and guidance on exercises and techniques to help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting initial evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients' specific needs
- Educating patients on proper exercise techniques and home exercise programs
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Continuously staying informed on the latest physical therapy research and methods
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice physical therapy in Washington
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform physical therapy techniques
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is preferred
