Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Job Summary:
As an occupational therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing effective treatment plans to help patients overcome physical and mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to promote independence, increase daily living skills, and improve overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop treatment plans that are tailored to meet their specific needs
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Develop and implement effective therapeutic activities and exercises to improve fine and gross motor skills, cognitive abilities, and social skills
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage day-to-day activities and reduce the risk of injury
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and effective treatment plan
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited program
- State licensure and registration
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
