Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and provide exceptional care to patients in need of rehabilitation services. As a PT, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or illnesses in order to promote overall wellness and restore functional mobility.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.

2. Create and implement effective therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination.

3. Administer manual therapy techniques, including massage, joint mobilization, and stretching, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.

4. Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to aid in the healing process.

5. Instruct patients on proper body mechanics, posture, and ergonomics to prevent further injuries and promote healthy movement patterns.

6. Monitor patients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.

7. Educate patients and their families on the benefits of physical therapy, home exercise programs, and injury prevention techniques.

8. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and provide input on comprehensive treatment plans.

9. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.

10. Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy techniques, research, and technology to enhance clinical practice.

11. Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards and guidelines related to physical therapy practice.

12. Contribute to the growth and development of the clinic by actively participating in continuing education, training, and mentorship opportunities.

13. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and managing patient records.

14. Foster a comfortable and supportive environment for patients, promoting a positive therapeutic experience.

15. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while addressing patients' concerns and ensuring their comfort and safety during treatment sessions.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

2. State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist.

3. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology.

4. Excellent manual dexterity, coordination, and physical stamina.

5. Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for a diverse patient population.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with patients and colleagues.

7. Problem-solving skills to adapt treatment strategies based on individual patient reactions and progress.

8. Proficiency in using specialized physical therapy equipment and tools.

9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

10. Keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills for accurate documentation and time management.

11. Strong ethical conduct and adherence to patient confidentiality guidelines.
