Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. In this role, you will assist patients in overcoming physical limitations, injuries, or disabilities to improve their mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall physical function. As a Physical Therapist, you will help patients regain strength, flexibility, and range of motion through various therapeutic exercises and treatments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct initial patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities, medical history, and individual needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation results and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as exercise, massage, and electrotherapy to improve patients' physical health.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on exercises, self-care techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay up to date with advancements in the field of physical therapy through attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses.
- Adhere to all applicable legal and ethical guidelines related to patient care and treatment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in evaluating and treating patients of all ages presenting a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics relevant to physical therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Physical stamina required to perform manual therapy techniques and assist patients in therapeutic exercises.
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs, treatment techniques, and emerging research in physical therapy.
