Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and provide exceptional rehabilitation services to patients. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat individuals with various physical limitations, injuries, or disabilities to restore optimal functioning and promote overall wellness. Your expertise will be vital in developing personalized treatment plans and implementing various therapeutic techniques to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and improve physical strength.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Evaluate patients' medical history, assess their physical abilities, and perform comprehensive physical examinations to determine treatment needs.

2. Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient goals and therapeutic objectives, utilizing evidence-based interventions.

3. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other specialized modalities to manage pain, restore function, and enhance mobility.

4. Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs to promote long-term health and independence.

5. Monitor and assess patients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies when necessary and ensuring effective rehabilitation outcomes.

6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

7. Document treatment sessions accurately, maintaining detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

8. Stay updated with advancements in the field of physical therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.

9. Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements, ensuring patient privacy, confidentiality, and informed consent are maintained at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

2. Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.

3. Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a clinical setting.

4. In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal disorders.

5. Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests.

6. Strong manual dexterity and technical skills to perform various therapeutic techniques.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

8. Ability to develop personalized treatment plans and strategies based on individual patient needs.

9. Adaptability and problem-solving skills to address unexpected patient responses or treatment challenges.

10. Empathy and compassion towards patients, promoting their well-being and ensuring a positive therapeutic relationship.

11. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate medical records and effectively manage caseloads.

12. Knowledge of insurance procedures and reimbursement mechanisms related to physical therapy services.

13. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of physical therapy.

14. Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software for documentation purposes.

15. Willingness to work flexible hours and occasionally travel to different healthcare facilities or patients' homes.
