Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to assess, plan, and implement physical therapy programs that promote recovery and enhance their overall well-being. Your primary goal will be to help individuals restore their physical function, relieve pain, and improve mobility through targeted exercises, therapeutic techniques, and innovative treatments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history, physical condition, and functional limitations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and programs based on individual needs and goals.
- Utilize various modalities and techniques to provide hands-on therapy and guide patients through movement-based exercises.
- Evaluate and document patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic procedures, injury prevention, and home exercise routines.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure effective treatment interventions.
- Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy techniques, incorporating evidence-based practices into treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and technology.
- Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
