Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our reputable healthcare facility. As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibility will be to provide therapy services to patients with physical health conditions, injuries, or disabilities. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall physical functionality. Your expertise in assessing patients' conditions, designing therapeutic exercises, and providing hands-on treatments will be essential in helping individuals regain strength and achieve optimal wellness.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical health conditions, including medical history review, physical examination, and assessment of functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals and therapeutic needs.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, techniques, and modalities to improve range of motion, mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Utilize specialized equipment and technology to facilitate treatment and enhance outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records while adhering to privacy regulations and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in the field of physical therapy through continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid state PT license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Proven experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Sound knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and various physical conditions.
- Proficient in assessing and diagnosing musculoskeletal and neurological impairments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to create and modify treatment plans based on patients' progress and changing needs.
- Knowledge of current evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform various manual therapy techniques and assist patient movement.
- CPR certification and knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and ethics.
