Job Description
"Job Title: Occupational Therapist in Lakeview Oregon
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to work with physically and/or mentally disabled pediatric patients in Lakeview, Oregon. As a pediatric occupational therapist, you will evaluate, select, perform, and/or direct assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to the patients. You will work closely with family members and health team members to ensure patients' abilities and goals are met.
Education and Experience:
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Must be eligible for license or have a current license from the State of Oregon. Current CPR certification is required. Must have a current knowledge of Occupational Therapy as related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts. Must have experience in pediatrics.
Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Effective team skills, including interaction, support, and respect, are required. The candidate must understand the principles of team approach and recognize the capabilities and limitations of other team members.
