Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for helping people overcome communication challenges.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' communication and swallowing difficulties
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' speech, language, and communication skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to coordinate care and support client progress
- Keep detailed records of client progress and communicate effectively with team members
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Strong clinical skills in evaluating and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
