Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will work with individuals of all ages who are facing physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges. The OT will help them develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate patients' abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
2. Assist patients in carrying out daily activities and exercises to improve function
3. Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients
5. Document patient progress and communicate with caregivers and families
6. Stay current with the latest research and techniques in occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
2. Valid Occupational Therapist license
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
6. Empathy and compassion for patients
7. Physical stamina to meet the demands of the job
