Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for helping clients improve their ability to perform daily activities and work tasks by evaluating their physical, mental, and emotional conditions and providing them with therapeutic interventions. They will work with individuals of all ages who are facing physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate clients' physical, mental, and emotional challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
- Help clients improve their ability to perform daily activities and work tasks
- Teach clients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and insurance providers
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Experience working in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting
