Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and provide quality care to patients in need of rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will use evidence-based practice to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to help clients improve their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to assess the client's physical, cognitive, and emotional strengths and limitations
- Develop customized treatment plans to address the client's specific needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
- Educate clients and their families on adaptive strategies and equipment to enhance their independence
- Document client progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
