Job Title: Physical Therapist - Inpatient
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. As a PT in the inpatient setting, you will work with patients recovering from illnesses, injuries, surgeries, or other medical conditions to help improve their mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate and assess patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans.
2. Implement and conduct physical therapy treatments and exercises to improve patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
3. Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
4. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
5. Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care and prevention of future injuries.
6. Keep detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
2. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. CPR certification.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
