Job title: Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation (Part-time)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will provide personalized care and treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, with a focus on improving their mobility and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform initial evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their specific needs and goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals
- Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and modalities to help patients improve their strength, flexibility, and range of motion
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on exercises and activities to continue at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
