Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The RRT will be responsible for assessing patients with respiratory issues, developing treatment plans, and providing respiratory therapy services to improve patients' breathing and overall health.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine respiratory issues and needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments such as oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and nebulizer treatments
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current on developments in respiratory therapy practices and technologies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
