Job Title: Tech - Echo Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Echo Technologist to join our team. The Tech - Echo Technologist will perform echocardiograms and assist Cardiologists in diagnosing and treating heart conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiograms on patients using advanced ultrasound equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Assist Cardiologists in interpreting test results and making treatment recommendations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures
- Ensure the ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Stay current with advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS or CCI certification in echo technology
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Echo Technologist
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
