Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them recover from injuries, surgeries, or other physical ailments. You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy, and educate patients on exercises and movements to improve their overall physical well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate and assess patients' conditions to determine the best course of treatment.
2. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients reach their physical therapy goals.
3. Provide hands-on therapy, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
4. Educate and instruct patients on proper techniques for exercises and movements.
5. Monitor and track patients' progress throughout their treatment.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
8. Stay current on advancements in physical therapy techniques and treatments.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
2. Valid Physical Therapy license in the state where you will be practicing.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
6. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
8. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
9. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
10. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on therapy.
11. Continuing education in the field of Physical Therapy.
12. Experience working with a diverse patient population is preferred.
13. CPR certification.
