Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries, as well as those seeking to improve their overall physical well-being. As a PT in our outpatient clinic, you will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and guide them through exercises and therapies to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions and create individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and modalities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility
- Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current on developments in the field of physical therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in outpatient rehabilitation preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy
