Job Summary:
Our rehabilitation center is seeking a skilled and passionate Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in a rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients' speech and language abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing function
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and families to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Document progress and maintain accurate patient records
- Stay current on research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification and state licensure
- Experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
